Bill Parcells Just Made My Day!

Oh Happy Day!

The New Jersey conman, the glorified gym teacher, Bill Parcells resigned today as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. This is the greatest day of 2007 so far. All I have to say is Jerry Jones better take full advantage of this opportunity. This is

As long as the Cowboys, under the leadership of Jerry Jones, doesn't go out and hire Bill Cower, or go back to Chan Gailey, I do not see how they can not go up from here.

I have not been a fan of the pear-shaped New Jersey geriatric from early on and I am truly pleased. The Cowboys have a great opportunity to turn things I can't wait to see what they do now.

Rumors are circulating that former Cowboys' QB back-up, Jason Garrett, may get the off. coord. job. Personally, I would like that call. I was always a big Garrett fan, even when he was first trying to make the team and got cut.

If I were a betting man, I'd wager that Mike Martz (Detroit off. coord. / former STL head coach) will be sitting in the coach's office at Valley Ranch.

I likie the Garrett option alot. I do not however like the idea of Martz. I think as a head coach he made some major blunders. I don't think he has that killer instinct either. Not that I am saying Tuna seemed to have it while here in Dallas though he had it earlier in his career.
